~Supplies~

*PSP - any version, I use X
*Tube of choice - I've used a very sweet fairy by Angela Newman which you can purchase at AMI. Please don't use her artwork without a license.
*Filters - Tormentia, Eye Candy 5 Glass & AAA Frames
*Artmama mask2 - can be found on my blog HERE.
*Scrap paper or Texture of choice - I've used a paper from my L'amour FTU kit on my blog HERE, paper 10
*Garden picture tubes - I'm not sure what version you're using, so here are few links to grab some addition picture tubes of garden flora if your version doesn't have them - Paint Shop Pro Photo Studio & Areleens
*Font of choice - I've used Carrington & Sex Pistols
*Spring quote of choice or use mine. It's a proverb so there is no one to credit it to.

~♥~Let's Begin~♥~

1. Open a new transparent image 550 x 350 or your preferred size. Open my L'amour 10 paper and resize to the width of your working canvas, in my case 550. C/p as a new layer. Click on your crop tool and looking all the way to the top right of your screen you'll see the snap crop tool.

Tap on that, then tap on the node in the center of your tag and it will crop the paper to the size of your working canvas.

2. Selections - select all - modify - contract 10 - invert - promote selection to layer - select none. On this new border - Effects - eye candy 5 - glass - use the bevel "button" with these settings:

3. Move back to your background layer - duplicate - blend mode screen - apply Artmama mask2 - merge group - Effects - Tormentia criss cross with default settings.

4. C/p your tube onto your canvas now, leaving the beveled frame always at the top of your layer palette. If your tube has a flat side as mine does, butt it up against one of the sides tucking it under the frame a bit. Add a d/s of your choice (I used 5, 10, 45 in EyeCandy 3.1).

5. Add a new raster layer and drop it under your tube layer. Click on your picture tube tool and find your garden tubes. Set it to 50 scale and random for placement and selection mode. Tap along the bottom of your canvas creating your garden as you go. If you get a "piece" that you don't like just hit your undo tool and tap again. Once satisfied, change the blend mode to overlay. Add the d/s of your choice - I added 1, 1, 43, 6.

6. Add a new raster layer above your tube now. Using your picture tube tool again, tap and undo until you find a suitable flower to signify the first hint of spring for your fairy to be looking at. Add the same d/s to this tube.

7. This part may require practice to get it exactly right, unless you're using the same quote as me. Move back down now to your background layer. Using your selections tool set to rectangle, stretch one out across the top of your image and leave selected. Effects - AAA Foto Frames using these settings:

Type your quote out inside this box.

8. Resize now if you need to, add your artist's copyright and your name & you're done.
